Between Saturday, Aug. 20, and Saturday, Aug. 27, the Barnesville police department made four arrests:
Christopher Brown, 33, 206 2nd St., Barnesville, simple battery;
Jennifer Wert, 23, 1501 Springchase Dr., Barnesville, making false report of a crime;
Arnitris Jarrell, 29, 235 Union Hill Dr. 13C, Forsyth, deposit account fraud;
Willie Hamm, 52, 398 Atlanta St., Barnesville, theft by taking;
Officers answered 51 calls for service including three fights, one animal complaint, one UFO report, five loud music, one criminal trespass, two burglaries, five domestics, 11 foot patrols, two suspicious person/vehicles, one suicide attempt; three speeding, eight accidents, six escorts, three alarms, one harassing phone calls and one unwanted person. They issued 21 citations including three shoplifting, two no license on person, one noise violation, five speeding, two failure to yield, four simple batteries, one disorderly house, one false report of a crime and one disorderly conduct.
