It is embarrassing to know that I live in a city where a girl gets punched in the face by an ex-boyfriend, and she gets charged with the same exact charge that he gets.....DISORDERLY CONDUCT.....When her mother ask why the male was not getting charged for hitting her, because the proof was ALL OVER HER CLOTHES (blood), she was told by the officer that they see so much of this and that one party or the other always comes back and drops the charges, that it is just a WASTE OF TIME AND PAPERWORk for them. WHAT A SHAME?????

Well, that's life. Get over it. People make mistakes all the time. I'm sure the older ones (Adults) were someone's students at some point in time. Shouldn't you be teaching instead of blogging?
#5 Anonymous on 09/07/11 at 09:52 AM
I think YOU should be teaching! GET OFF THE BLOG! That's why the test scores are so low!
#6 M.S. on 09/07/11 at 02:10 PM
You are who you hangout with. That's what happens when you put yourself in that position.
#7 Anonymous on 09/07/11 at 05:32 PM
Not at 9:50 PM...dumba$$ !
#8 Anonymous on 09/07/11 at 05:34 PM
Wrong. Test scores are low because of the special education subgroup and African American males. Look it up. Why would he/she be teaching at 9:50PM anyway?!
#9 keanu on 09/07/11 at 06:21 PM
If anyone is ever driving under the influence, do not go to a huddle house. They will snitch on you in a heartbeat. Most stores/restaurants will do this to you also.
Be careful everyone!
Be careful everyone!

I hope they catch whomever threw that concrete rock through the van windshield in the Fred's parking lot. Some people are such little sh$ts.
#11 Sure on 09/07/11 at 07:46 PM
I don't teach at 9:50PM!!!! Pay attention next time before you insert your foot in your mouth.
#12 Get a life! on 09/07/11 at 07:52 PM
Teachers have a life too! We have every right to blog just like you do so mind your own. Our test scores do not suffer from teachers blogging! We have other problems that are beyond our control of reasons why kids are not passing. The normal population passes the test. We struggle with special education students test scores. They are required to pass a test they never will because they are not on the grade level mentally that they are currently in. I bust my butt teaching everyday. So who are you to judge?
#13 Anonymous on 09/07/11 at 08:16 PM
Classes at Gordon run late. Where do you teach ass?
#14 Anonymous on 09/07/11 at 08:18 PM
Also trailer white trash!
#15 Anonymous on 09/07/11 at 08:24 PM
My foot is not in my mouth but if you keep on talking it's going to be in your a$$. These times are always off. If you cared so much for your former students why not help them instead of telling them how disappointed you are. What goes around comes around. Maybe your kids will be angels until the day they die.
#16 Anonymous on 09/07/11 at 08:28 PM
You're right, but blogging about students is wrong. You can go to hell for all I care.
#17 Anonymous on 09/07/11 at 08:30 PM
You don't even stay here. Why are you on the blog anyway?
#18 Anonymous on 09/07/11 at 08:34 PM
As a parent, I would be concerned about you talking about my child on a blog! You need too get a life! Maybe if you had a real man at home you wouldn't be up so late. Hmmmmm. Somebody's rusty dusty.
#19 Anonymous on 09/07/11 at 09:03 PM
If you are driving under the influence, someone should "snitch" on you. Keep up the good job Huddle House employees (never thought I would say that!)
#20 Anonymous on 09/07/11 at 10:41 PM
How about if you are under the influence - DO NOT DRIVE!
#21 Anonymous on 09/08/11 at 05:08 AM
If anyone is ever driving under the influence, you should hope they stop at the Huddle House instead of driving drunk down your street and killing your child or your mother. Of course, that tragedy might change your perspective a little bit.
#22 Anonymous on 09/08/11 at 05:36 AM
WHOOHOO for the workers at the Huddle House who report vulgar, inconsiderate, dangerous criminals (yes, if you drink and drive you ARE a criminal...you are breaking the law). If you are not responsible enough to have a designated driver, then you deserve to be snitched on! Those workers deserve an award for their outstanding community helps!
#23 Anonymous on 09/08/11 at 05:39 AM
Whichever officer told you this, and refused to file proper charges, should be FIRED. Go speak to a higher official, even the Mayor if needed, to get those charges filed! Assault should never be ignored by anyone!
#24 J. ROGERS on 09/08/11 at 06:13 AM
How dare someone snitch on a person driving under the influence. Why not just offer him\her another drink?
It is probably the same ones that have been kicking back doors in all over the county and stealing computers and tvs. Lamar County sheriffs office will have them in custody before too long.
#26 Anonymous on 09/08/11 at 07:26 AM
Get Real! Who cares?
#27 momoftwo on 09/08/11 at 07:49 AM
Keanu, you are a prime POS. If I see you driving while drinking, I'll snitch on you too. Your stupidity puts everyone at risk. I think I'll go eat dinner at HH just to support them after your ridiculous post.
#28 Anonymous on 09/08/11 at 08:02 AM
Good for the folks at Huddle House. Keep your drunk a$$ off the road if you don't want to be arrested for DUI. Your statement shows your lack of concern about the innocent victims of DUI CRIMES.
#29 Anonymous on 09/08/11 at 10:38 AM
Sick all of you are SICK! Get help!
#30 DAMM on 09/08/11 at 12:41 PM

#31 Not too Smart! on 09/08/11 at 04:30 PM
Well you must be thinking of someone else because I do live in Lamar County thank you!
#32 HA HA on 09/08/11 at 04:34 PM
If you call 9:50pm too late then you must be just too old! I stay up later than that grading papers! As far as my man he is great and we are well to do in that area too! So mind your own business.
#33 Anonymous on 09/08/11 at 08:50 PM
Those two are not in college thank you. So it would be a K-12 teacher. Don't try to pull the Gordon class crap. It is not going on at 9:50 either! Fool!
#34 Anonymous on 09/09/11 at 08:47 AM
Why do the officials go to the trouble of making laws if they are not enforced? What about the ordinances about having junk cars in the yard I drive down sims street and just about every yard has a junk car. If you are caught drunk driving then you should be arrested and thank you to the snitches who do report you. They are only doing the community a service by getting you off the road before something tragic happens. It is ashame that they can't have road blocks up on thursday night to keep some of the hoodlums off the street. We all know you go to a bar to get drunk so if they catch you then you should be fined. If the police are not meeting their quota on tickets then all they have to do is come out to the Ingles parking lot and write tickets to all the people who park in the fire lane and in parking spots reserved for the truly handicapped. They should also start enforcing the law about indecent exposure I don't like looking at someones nasty drawers because they can't show any respect for themselves they don't show any respect to anyone else.

What is your name? I believe you're the teacher that no one likes. keep on and you will be out of the door soon. They move you every year. HUH? You need to see why your husband is still messing about with his ex. Oppss I said to much.

Clearly, you don't know who and what you are talking about. I have taught the same grade level in the same school for over 15years. And, I am a male teacher.
#39 Anonymous on 09/11/11 at 04:44 PM
What is "Oppss?" You sound bitter b/c this one teacher hit a nerve which would be the truth. Aren't you tired? Tired of speaking slander and sewing discord. Why not shut your ignorant mouth and move on?
#40 HA HA on 09/11/11 at 09:53 PM
You must be totally oblivious if you think I am the only professional talking about your child. That is if you want to still call them a child because they are of age and is now considered an adult. Heck all of Barnesville talks whether it is on the blog or by mouth and believe me it doesn't take long for word to get around this small town!
#41 Anonymous on 09/13/11 at 12:04 PM
You can't be talking about my child. My child graduated years ago. I was speaking in general FOOL!
#42 Anonymous on 09/13/11 at 12:09 PM
Stop telling lie's! You have not taught here for 15 years! Not possible, each year the board honors Teachers for years of service and you were not there last year. However, If this is your 15th year this year. I will see you in the upcoming spring. Thanks for alerting me to who you are.
#43 Parent on 09/13/11 at 12:16 PM
If you are talking during school hours your ass needs to be fired. You are setting a poor example for students. Yes, you are entitled to free time and blogging but you are not entitled to disrespect students! And on top of that. You wonder why kids have such a negative attitudes about school. Listen at you! You are picking at these kids for a MISTAKE they made! I hope KARMA kicks you in the ass big time!
#44 Anonymous on 09/13/11 at 12:19 PM
No the JOKES on you! I bet you won't say this to the parents face! You can run your mouth behind closed doors but when the parent comes out to the school you will shut your ass up then!
#45 Just a thought on 09/13/11 at 08:19 PM
Aren't you tired of all this teacher bantering. That's what is wrong the kids. No respect which is instilled from so-called parents like you. Be proactive instead of reactive!
#46 Anonymous on 09/14/11 at 08:56 AM
They cant set up road blocks on Thursday nights because it is hurting SOMEONES business and thats discrimination...besides there is only two officers that work on the night shift so they cant be everywhere all of the time. The city needs to hire more officers. I dont know why they cant see that. They dont have time to sit and watch to the handicap spots at ingles.
