Former Pike County superintendent of schools Earnest Darryl Dean, who was arrested there in 2005 for trying to solicit what he thought was a 15-year-old girl online, has been arrested again.

Federal data show that 27% of all sexual offenders assaulted family members. Fifty percent of offenses committed against children younger than 6 years were committed by a family member, as were 42% of acts committed against children 6 to 11 years old and 24% against children 12 to 17 years old. A study by Abel and Harlow found that 68% of “child molesters” had molested a family member; 30% had molested a stepchild, a foster child, or an adopted child; 19% had molested 1 or more of their biologic children; 18% had molested a niece or nephew; and 5% had molested a grandchild. In the study by Abel of anonymous nonincarcerated offenders, heterosexual incest pedophiles had abused 1.8 children and committed 81.3 acts, whereas homosexual incest pedophiles had abused 1.7 children and committed 62.3 acts.

oh but pike county has such a great system with all the high test scores and such. yea right! pike co . is no better than any other public school system. they teach your kids the lie of evolution, they dont allow the name of JESUS in their schools, and they are full of homosexual teachers and perverts and are pushing a left wing, progressive intellectual, socialist agenda. however if my chid ever has to go to a public school it will be here in lamar co. where i at least know there are some hard working christian teachers , administrators, and coaches that are doing their absolute best despite having thier hands tied by the dept. of ed. and the federal government and the teachers unions. i know there are teachers in other systems too that are fighting the good fight too , including pike co., but their numbers are dwindling. lets face it most people think and wanna move to the pike co . schools because there are less black kids there. the black kids are not the problem in the public schools, the problem is the public schools themselves. its time to abolish county school taxes for all that want to send their kids to private schools, lets put the public schools out of buisness!

Hence - what came first the chicken or the egg? Before evolution can take place there must be life. Life cannot evolve from lifelessness. Some people want to use science to prove life was not created when actually the evidence of creation is equal to evolution. It gives meaning to freewill. You have the freewill to believe in whatever scientific theory you wish to believe. However, if you choose the science of evolution you do not have the right to attempt to force others to believe as you. On the other hand, if you choose the creation theory and believe in God, you have an obligation to at least make nonbelievers aware of God’s plan in life as best that you can. One fact is absolutely true. We are all going to discover the truth in the end and I dare say that creationist will fare much better than evolutionist. Of course, evolutionist will now want to make the case that creationist want to use fear to persuade belief when basic principles of common sense is all that is needed. By definition, evolution is the change over time so I would assume it is possible for evolution to begin to take place in life but, only after life has found existence. As previously stated, life must exist first. Life is a form of energy and if I’m not mistaken it was Sir Isaac Newton that used science and mathematics to basically prove energy cannot be created or destroyed which was taken to a whole new level by of fact by Albert Einstein. If life could find a way by itself, there should be life (energy) existing everywhere in the universe. Therefore, the chicken came first and the egg was the first step in created life’s start of the evolution process in science. So I guess I’m saying creation and evolution coexist, but, creation by a Supreme Being started it all.

The scientific basis for evolution makes a whole lot more sense that the creationist nonsense that says Man was created by dropping dirt/mud and that the Earth is only 6,000 or so years old. But then some people would rather cling to ignorance than accept reality. And that is perfectly fine if those same people did not want the rest of the world to be ignorant with them.

More ignorance showing with the dirt reference. Obviously you don't understand the theory of evolution which says all life came from single cell organisms which contained, yeah that's right you guessed it (well probably not since you are using the specious, ill-conceived argument about apes), from the same basic elements that are in DIRT.

So the Bible is accurate, Man was created from Dirt. Just took a bit more time than the nonsense some people argue about being dropped from a piece of mud. Man evovled from these organisms as all life did. Then APE-LIKE creatures, the early "man", eventually evolved into humans.

Have you ever noticed the pretty flowers you see or seen the wide variety of dogs in dog showing. That is evolution is action (just in this case caused by Man through breeding).

The Theory of Evolution is actually based on real observation and scientific theory. The creation story is just that--a story with no basis in fact whatsoever.

You "Evolutionist" and "Creationist" make me laugh. Both are too busy trying to disprove the other, when in reality, they are the same. The only difference is our concept of time. If you take into account that time IS NOT constant. You will understand how both are correct...(mostly)
