Lamar County and Monticello will play a third and deciding game today in their Region 4-AA play-in series. The Lady Trojans and Lady Hurricanes split the first two games yesterday with Lamar winning game one 4-2 and Monticello bouncing back to take the nightcap 7-5 in extra innings.

Monicello won due to many horrible calls by the umpires!! They were terrible & made MANY bad calls against Lamar County. It's sad & very unfair when you have to play the other team AND the umpires. It is very discouraging to the players & the fans!!!

Lady Trojans fall to Monticello 10-2 and are eliminated from the region tournament. They end the season with a 14-12 record.
