Between Sunday, Sept. 18, and Saturday, Sept. 24, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:
Patrick Lee Wardak, 19, Jackson, disorderly house or occupying a dive and consumption, purchase, furnishing or selling alcohol under age;
Ashley Lynn Barnett, 26, Barnesville, no charges listed;
Marcus Dante Akins, 31, Griffin, driving without a license and open container;
David Bret Phillips, 27, Barnesville, no charges listed;
Cary Scott Wilson, 47, Culloden, terroristic threats and acts, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and cruelty to children;
Carlos Alberto Valdez, 51, Everglade City, Fla., possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine and possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana;
Dulce Maria Valdez, 47, Everglade City, Fla., possession, sale, purchase or manufacture of cocaine and possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana;
Stacy Ann Knight, 34, Milner, arrested for another agency;
Casey Darrell Parker, 39, Griffin, probation violation;
Kailin Ana Foulke, 19, Loxahatchee, Fla., drugs not in original container and Violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act;
Austin Steven Gilliland, 18, no residence listed, drugs not in original container and VGCSA:
Kenneth R. Davis, 37, Milner, simple battery;
Courtney Thuron Baker II, 19, Barnesville, serving time;
James Buckner III, 44, Barnesville, parole violation;
Reginald Jerome Smith, 30, Barnesville, probation violation;
Cortez Deandre Henderson, 22, Rex, probation violation;
Brandi Lorraine Beavers, 38, Milner, disorderly conduct.
Deputies answered 113 calls and 911 answered 104 calls. Deputies responded to 24 calls, the Barnesville police department to 25 calls, Lamar firefighters to 10 and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 51. There were nine accidents. Deputies served one warrant and issued 17 traffic citations.
