Over 9,000 tax bills were mailed out by the tax commissioner’s office the week before Buggy Days. The following week, tax commissioner Andrea Anthony was busy re-mailing less than 200 that were returned due to changes of address.

You want a government handout? Foodstamps aren't enough? You want them (ummm...us) to pay your property taxes too?

No, no food stamps for me. I was just being silly. I paid my bill when I got it. It was only $1.556.00 not to bad.

OK, what about the fire tax, excuse me aSSessment? Do I get my money back? What about those that chose not to pay?

I'm with you wish I had not paid mine, a-ha, I was the original poster # 5 so not being critical, I think mr jay wants it to ugly away, not voting for any splost $$ either

Yea kinda funny some people didn't pay it and they seemed to get away with not. We were told if we didn't pay it we would be taken to magistrate court and charges fines. What happened with that?

Do you think they are going to tie up court for $50.00 dollars. Uhm no.... HA HA!
