I have one question. You mentioned 1/4 cup of oil.
Does it matter what kind of oil, 10W30 10W40 or which.
Does it have to be a detergent oil, or just regular oil.
this works great on the grill, too. Make a two-zone fire (one side of grill with coals, one side without). Sear each side of the London Broil for three to five minutes directly over the coals to carmelize surface, then move to non-coal side and cover for seven to twelve minutes until cooked through to desired doneness.
