Gordon president to be named Wednesday
The Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia has called a meeting for 9 a.m. Wednesday to select a president for Gordon College.

As an Alumnus of Gordon, I feel a person of Leadership, which these candidates, appear in my conception, each are a little light in this area. I fail to see anything in their backgrounds where they took initiatives that would create growth in the fields they have persued. They appear to have filled in a square on the organizational chart.

Whoever this anonymous staff writer is, he or she needs to explain where the information comes from. I suspect that it is speculation, and even if true, I am reluctant to trust the credibility of reporters who pretend some inside knowledge.
By the way, does anyone even know whether Shelley Nickel even applied? The reporter here seems to imply that, but once again, perhaps that is mere speculation.
