Between Saturday, Nov. 5, and Monday, 14 the Barnesville police department made nine arrests:
Frances Watts, 62, 200 Southland Dr., I-4, Barnesville, simple battery;
Michael Obilor, 27, Rockhill Pkwy., Lithia Springs, theft by taking;
Jonah Riley, 17, 1898 Hwy. 36 E. Milner, sale, delivery or distribution of marijuana;
Jamorris Cole, 25, 253 Matthews St., Barnesville, simple battery;
Willie McDowell, 42, 114 Red Oak Dr., Barnesville disorderly conduct;
Donovan Gardner, 20, 1141 Folkston Dr., McDonough, criminal trespass;
Matthew Henderson, 49, 1234 Sunnyside Dr., Griffin, possession of marijuana and giving false name;
Brittany Darty, 20, 253 Matthews St., Barnesville, simple battery;
Lean-Paul Giroux, 17, 330 Atlanta St., Barnesville, sale, delivery or distribution of marijuana;
Officers answered 125 calls for service including four fights, four animal complaints, two thefts, one criminal trespass, two burglary, six domestics, 11 foot patrols, three suspicious persons/vehicles, two speeding, four accidents, four escorts, eight alarms three fires, one damage to property, one harassing phone call, one unwanted person and two wanted or stolen. They issued 26 citations including one possession of less than an ounce of marijuana; one driving while license suspended or revoked, one no license on person, one no insurance, nine speeding, one lane violation, one following too closely, two failure to stop or yield, one light violation, one headlight violation, three simple battery, one giving false name, one disorderly conduct, one criminal trespass and one no through truck.
