Along with the traditional activities at the Illumination Celebration, this year’s event will also feature a gingerbread house decorating contest to go along with the theme of “A Gingerbread Christmas”.
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas around town. Members of the Azalea Garden Club will deck the town with boughs of holly and red bows this week. City crews have been stringing tiny, white lights in the trees flanking downtown.

The city and churches work very hard, public please be respectful, be quite during announcements, prayers and singing. Let the infirm and elderly have the chairs. Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas
