We'd like to thank everyone who voted for our Game of the Week. East Paulding vs. Northgate was the winner with the BT vs. Lamar County game a close second. We want to especially thank our fans in Lamar County who ALMOST won for the second time this year. For your efforts, we'll be at your game too! Good luck to all of the playoff teams this week!
Why does the school system think they can continue this nuisance practice?
All day long today the noise has continued and now tonight it continues.
Oh, just keep in mind there are other ways to address this issue. YOU don't live in the area and have to put up with the speaker system while trying to sleep.
You see, some of us DON'T live on Thomaston Street, and DON'T have 9-5 jobs at Gordon College or United Bank.
"shove it and move away if you hate it, I live on Thomaston Street and don't hear it..."
Does the above help your comprehension?
You're welcome, glad to help. Now, turn down the speakers!
Sorry pal but you get to listen to it get loud at least one more week!
They will repeat as AA State Champs and need to be investigated by GHSA.
but you need to understand that as a lifelong citizen and former player,I take this very seriously and I refuse to hold my tongue when the ref makes a horrid call or misses a spot by 4 yards.
on the other hand you are probably the same person who asked me if I had ever been to a game last year, when I go to every one.
or maybe you're the person who told the kids sitting below us to stop blowing their horns, when the band was coming on the field.
last thing I'm gonna say is,I do believe in fan involvement,I apologized as soon as I said the curse word.I have and always will yell and be loud as I can.maybe if you studied the game as much a me,then you wouldn't be so concerned about one word...and don't give me there were kids down there, yes I realize this and thats why I apologized.if you don't like the way I cheer for my team maybe you should find somewhere else to sit, because the people I sit around have been holding down the 50 in that spot at summers field and the new field...so we don't plan on going anywhere.
who is this second guy you are talking about?because I am pretty sure I was the only one who cursed outloud.
if I'm wrong and you're not talking about me then I'm sorry but I am just voicing my opinion about telling fans to stay home.
Everybody around heard him apologize.I know who you are talking about, this guy has been to every game this year, near or far,and will be at every one next year I'm assuming. It makes me sick that people always have something to say about someone being themselves and having fun.
I understand there were kids around, but com;on it's not like they haven;t heard it from you when you or your old man are watching a game on TV,plus I'm sure they have heard worse. It's up you to control your kids and make them the best they can be.
