An alleged Piedmont Road drug operation has been halted by Lamar County sheriff’s deputies and the Narcotics Task Force.

It is very sad that we have so much drug and illegal activity in out lovely county. It takes everyone doing their part and reporting suspicious activity as well our law enforcement angencies following through. Thank you to all involved in making arrests like this happen and making our communties a safer place to live and raise our children.

First a meth lab and now this. Thank you Sheriff Waller. Finally some drug busts that are NOT on 75! Thanks to all the Law Enforcement who are working to rid our community of these scum.

lamar county has allways been the place to come to to buy drugs!!it was back in the 70's and still is today.you just had folks in high places turn their heads.lots of folks on the take,allways has been allways will be.this stuff lately is just for show.remember election year is comming up.notice how its the little boys getting arrested and never any of the good ol'boys or their friends?

You all are invited to move to our drug free county. We live in harmony with visions of exotic living.... sound financial structure.... occupy free cities....... few entitlement programs......and most of all the best educational system in the state.

Please take a free drive and see how wonderful Pike is compaired to Lamar.

I am 30 years old and in Afghanistan, i have bought or someone in my family has bought a paper my entire life, i used to be grateful for this site because i could keep up with local news while abroad, but now every story reads "For the whole story, read the Nov. 22 print/e-edition of the Herald Gazette".Thanks Barnesville for keeping it cheap as possible. i cant get the news can i atleast get some gravel on INGRAM road, just paid my taxes so you have a few dollars to spare im sure.

If you or someone in you family is subscribing to the H-G you should be able to read the full paper online with the e-edition. Even though I'm in Barnesville I read it while spouse still prefers to read the paper edition.

, them white people in pike county just like to murder each other, and keep the drugs covered up. you also mentioned your biggest entitlement program , the public school system that teaches the same crap as all the other public school systems. and what was the score from pike co.s football playoff game. oh i forgot sorry.

Pike Co best school? PSSHH!! Just ask anyone there about the suicide of Allen Eldridge, Pike Co schools employee caused it and it was school related.

be foreal. take a look at pike high school. that's where 90% of the drugs are.
