The Empty Stocking Fund After Hours held Dec. 1 at United Bank contributed greatly to the $6,836.92 that was added to the coffers of the Christmas charity. This will enable more children to receive Christmas gifts from the fund. The ESF set a goal of $25,000 for Christmas 2011, with nearly $9,000 in the bank.
