Joan and Johnny Ruffin have been friends of ours for many years. Joan worked with Frank in the Clerk's office for many years, but she was also a very special friend to us. She has been a part of our family to rejoice with us during our good times and support us in the hard times. She has been a vital part in the work of Antioch Baptist Church in many of the ministries there. A large void has been left behind with her death, but she has served her family, her friends, her church, but most of all, her Heavenly Father faithfully. Joan Brooks Ruffin was woman who was loved and will be missed.

I can still hear Joan's wonderful laugh. She was such a good, happy person--even helped the women in our class (1 yr. ahead of hers) plan our 50th reunion. She just celebrated hers this past Sept. Thoughts and prayers to Johnny.

She was the most Kind hearted Christian lady. We pray for Mr. Johnny and the family. She was fun to talk to and so caring for everyone. Everyone who knew her received a wonderful blessing.

I have only had the last 10 years to know this sweet, wonderful person. If you had never experienced genuine concern & care from an individual before, you would after meeting and knowing her. She made us all feel special.
