Lakievius Eleby was sentenced to life in prison plus 20 years Tuesday afternoon and led away in handcuffs from Lamar superior court.

This is sad from every angle. Now someone is dead and the lives of the thugs that did it are basically over.

Yes very sad that in 2012 u still have these types of people as judges. Bias to the fullest. If he was anyway near fair he would have removed himself from this case.

Hope Bryce got a fat check for working. Since the police department, the DA department, GBI, and the judge could not do their jobs properly they punked a little snitching lying ass little boy to do it for them thru lies. And the prosecutor had the nerve to say he was disrespected. No fool u disrespected your on ass with that weak ass case that u relied on the judge to have your back. They all have disrespected the justice department in general for being bias SOB's in 2012. Georgia will never be a fair state. Hope the truth comes out and Barnesville have a law suit on their hands. But hell they won't get much since the whole damn city is only worth 8,414.00.

Why should the judge have removed himself? Did he have a conflict of interest in this case? Or, did you just not like his rulings in the case?

Wasn't it the jury that found him guilty? Seems to me the prosecutors job is to present the case for the guilt of the accused. I think he did his job. It is up to the jury to make the decision. Seems to me your anger is misplaced. Perhaps your bias is showing?

And, how do you know the guy that testified against Eleby is lying? Do you have information on the case that would have been relevant? And how do you know Eleby didn't lie on the stand too? Or, perhaps it is just someone getting up there and being a witness for the prosecution that you object to? Again, maybe it is just your bias showing.

If Barnesville is so bad, in your estimation, why not just move away? Perhaps with could move to Macon which I am sure is worth at least $8,415.00. Maybe they have a legal system more to your liking there?

It was the jury! I have never seen such injusctice by a jury except of course in the Casey Anthony case. That jury believed a witness who changed his story 8 times and made a deal with the state. REALLY? It makes me sick to think of that 22 year old being sentenced to life plus 20 years, more time than the actual shooter..... When obviously there was reasonable doubt. Why would Spinks lie? He had nothing to lose. Bryce had everything to lose. It disgust me to think that one penny of my tax dollars will go to pay the salary of the Judge, or the prosecutors they looked like babbling idiots....Oh and I'm not moving I'm going to spend every minute of my time and donate as much money as the law will allow to helping whoever runs against Richard Milam get elected. It's time for Sprinks to come clean with who the other 2 really were! Before that young man dies in prison for something he DIDN'T DO!

I hear the states boy want to retract his plea stating he wasn't there at all. Wow really like we haven't heard enough lies come out his mouth. Who will believe anything that comes out his mouth now besides his dumb ass mother. Lord have mercy on his soul if he lying and Eleby sent off for no good reason besides the police wants him gone because they are too dumb to do real police work and get him selling drugs.

Time for Sponks to come clean!!!!!!!!!! Why Spinks? U don't think Bryce know? Bryce should have came clean from the jump. Since he is the one everyone is believing. Changed statement 8 times. Spinks spoke once in a year. Both Bryce and Eleby singing names for a year. Now Jemereis in custody, who they should have been focused on anyway. Now maybe Spinks can really speak. Hmmmm

Yes my bias shows cause I am very much bias. I will show and own mine unlike the department of justice there. No I do not live there. My bias were formed and created by them over the pass year. I have no idea who telling the truth but they do not either. Thats my point.
