Almost three years after his first chance at parole failed, church arsonist Stacey Dewayne McCowell was to have been paroled Monday, March 12, after spending nearly his entire adult life in prison.

You have got to be kidding me.......serve 16 of 327 years? Way to go parole board!

That's exactly what I was going to say. What the heck, Parole board? All we can hope is he will follow the usual pattern, will get released and within the first 30 days will do some petty crime that he will get caught for and sent back to jail.

And not allowed to leave the state? By all means, let him leave. Not like he is needed/wanted around here.

PS. He is a career criminal. It is not like your stupid parole rules will make any difference to him.

This guy obviously has no marketable work skills. He does nothing but create havoc. And he will be out amongst us? That's great, just wonderful.

Unfortunately, as the parole board demonstrated,we the people get no say in the matter :(

Why would he want to leave the state, even if he could?
Any place else, he might be imprisoned and have to actually SERVE the years of his sentence.....
