The four men arrested in connection with a drive-by shooting at 215 Jackson Street here early Sunday have been identified.

Shame on them, especially Christopher Bowden. With a lifestyle like this, you certainly will forever be called a FORMER standout football player. You boys need to all grow up and find some good things to do. Drive by shooting, come on, you have all been watching way too much TV.

M. C., I will take a shot (pun intended) at answering your factor question. Each of the aforementioned young 'gentlmens' have really thin mustaches, athletic builds, same color eyes and enjoy brawling for the affections of 'baby momma' party gurls over at Horton's entertainment empire. I will surmise they are Obuma supporters too.

Good one, Cats. They need a Thug College, don't they? They could have orange uniforms, have classes like Mugging 101, paid by taxpayers, for sure. It would give obama a reason to come to Barnesville. BUT that $3500 dinner thing will not work for me. It will cost obama MUCH more than that to have me eat with him.

That's the problem with that mentality of these kids. In high school, they place too much emphasis on being a "pro" football star instead of excelling in academic studies then when high school is over realities hits. Instead of college, learning a trade, or getting a real job, he chose to be a "gansta thug." Way to shine!

It must have been the guns! For the life of me, I can't understand what has gone wrong in America in the past twenty years or so. If the parents would only keep their children away from the GUNS, we wouldn't have had such tragedies. Yeah, it must be the guns. It couldn't have been because over half our children are being raised in broken homes. It couldn't have been because our children get to spend on average 30 seconds in meaningful conversation with their parents each day. After all, we give our children quality time. It couldn't have been because we treat our children as pets and our pets as children. It couldn't have been because we place our children in daycare centers where they learn their socialization skills amongst their peers under the law of the jungle while 16 year old employees who have no vested interest in the children look on and make sure that no blood is spilled. It couldn't have been because we allow our children to watch on average 7 hours of television a day filled with the glorification of sex and violence that isn't fit for adult consumption. It couldn't have been because we allow our children to enter into virtual worlds in which to win the game, one must kill as many opponents as possible in the most sadistic way possible. It couldn't have been because the children we do have are so spoiled with the material things that they come to equate the receiving of the material things with love. It couldn't have been because our children who have historically been seen as a blessing from God are now being viewed as either a mistake created when contraception fails, a side effect of "getting high" or inconveniences that parents try to raise in their spare time. It couldn't have been because our nation is the world leader in developing a culture of death in which 20 to 30 million babies have been killed by abortion. It couldn't have been because we give 2 year prison sentences to teenagers that kill their own newborns. It couldn't have been because our school systems teach the children that they are nothing but glorified apes that have evolutionized out of some soup of mud by teaching evolution as fact and by handing out condoms as if they were candy. It couldn't have been because we teach our children that there are no laws of morality that transcend us, that everything is relative, and that ACTIONS DON'T HAVE CONSEQUENCES.
Nah, it must have been the guns.
