A 28-year-old Lamar County man charged in the hit and run death of Thomas Norman Anderson has been granted bond in a hearing that, for unexplained reasons, was held five days before he was to appear in Lamar superior court.

Really? Are we picking a choosing how we administer justice here? May not be, but something sure seems a little fishy here.
Course, I am not holding my breath on getting an explanation. So far I have not gotten anything substantial from any of our city or county leadership on any issues we are facing right now.
But I have looked at this story on here, and cannot figure out where it says that yesterday was Mr. Anderson's birthday. I don't think that Barnesville.com had any way of knowing that it was your husband's birthday, and I don't think any harm was meant.
The media is supposed to report the news and this unfortunate timing of Lenhart's release is news, and puzzling news at that.
Having lost a brother abruptly, I do know that many times grief manifests as anger since our grief is so painful to face that we show it in anger instead. I wish you and your family peace, as you work your way through the tragic loss of Mr. Anderson.
