How can that be racist? You must be an Obama voter wanting everyone to walk on eggshells around you to comply with any sensitivity you may invent. Get over yourself...the story was about wastewater.

I like the Jellystone Park graphic used with what would otherwise (to me) be a dry bit of news. No pun intended.
On another topic- and I will stray because the only poster to this story has strayed- what the heck does racism have to do with this story?
I have been enjoying the online site, and the opportunity to post comments on the stories, but I'm irritated with the racist diatribe on this site.
Is there anything that can be done to stop this?

i dont care who you vote for i dont care what color your skin is who you date what you do in your free time ....i just want to know how in gods name everything on this web site gets back to race.. this story is about bad water....and the park was once known as jellystone so they used a picture yogi at jellystone i just can not see the racist in that .....come on people(not to be used as a black or white put down)get off your soapbox and use you head for more than just blowing hot air.

I think maybe post #1 is trying to be funny, since so many racial comments have been made. If this is true, it is a lame attempt at humor. I agree with 'cats', I am irritated with it too; I find all the racial comments insulting, and I'm white! Perhaps maybe people should have to sign in with a legit name or email address.

this just in.... BOO BOO, white male, was arrested for poss. of meth. and pos. of crack cocaine. Yogi, black male, was arrested for vio. of prob. and pos. of drug drug paraphernalia. Stay tuned as story progresses.

cartoon is racist because the MAN aka ranger smith who is white is always after yogi who is clearly a black man just wanting to sleep and eat for free as best as he can... and he loves to fish too..

I thought Yogi Bear was smarter than the average bear. Isn't that part of it, too? That doesn't seem racist, he's superior to others.
