Between Friday, May 11, and Thursday, May 17, the Lamar County sheriff’s office made the following arrests:
Miles Nicholas Hamilton, 21, Jackson, serving time;
Marcus Antonio Watkins, 23, Forsyth, serving time;
Jennifer Delane Greene, 44, Barnesville, obstruction of an officer, two counts criminal trespass and disorderly conduct;
Charles Steven Mann, 56, Barnesville, obstruction of an officer, battery, drugs not in original container and obstructing or hindering emergency call;
Raymond Scott Terrell, 32, Chicago, Ill., disorderly conduct, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon;
Kevin Tirrell McCorvey, 25, Lithonia, contempt of court;
Wesley Robert Peters, 22, Griffin, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime, possession of a drug-related object, possession, manufacture, transport or distribution of destructive device and possession, manufacture, sale and purchase of marijuana;
Seth Bennon Roberts, 23, Griffin, possession of a firearm or knife during the commission of a crime, possession, manufacture, sale or purchase of marijuana, possession, manufacture, sale and purchase of a destructive device and possession of a drug related object;
John Wayne Bowen Jr., 33, Milner, disorderly conduct;
David Lee Walker, 39, Barnesville, serving time;
Tonya Renee Olson, 41, Thomaston, theft by taking;
Neva Mildred Smith-Hardy, 39, McDonough, deposit account fraud;
James Rodney Palmer III, 35, Jackson, failure to maintain lane, leaving the scene of an accident and other charges;
Demarcus Bernard Jenkins, 21, Barnesville, no charges listed.
Deputies answered 126 calls and the 911 center answered 37. Deputies responded to 20 calls, the Barnesville police department to 17, Lamar County firefighters to 13, the Barnesville fire department to three and Mid-Georgia Ambulance to 26. There were seven accidents. Deputies served one warrant and issued nine citations.
