A motorcyclist was lifeflighted to an area trauma center Saturday morning after his bike collided with an automobile on Veterans Pkwy. in Barnesville.

If this is such a bad intersetion and people don't obey the signs, no matter what they are, do more to protect everyone. PUT UP A LIGHT!

I live on Grove street and people use it as a cut thru to get to the bypass. They speed both ways up and down the street day and night. Also throw trash out everyday. We have ask for someone to patrol the are to no avail at all. The speed limit needs to say 45 mph on 341 all the way to hot shot and on grove it needs to go to 25. Maybe if people will slow down the may see the stop sign and not pull out in front of others. I watch it happen everyday. The Red light will probaly not make it anty better. What about a red light camera and some speed bumbs from 341 down grove street toward atlanta street.

This is probably the scariest intersection along Veteran's Parkway. I wouldn't mind seeing a stoplight there.

who hit who? was the bike on 341 or Grove?

Amen. Nothing wrong with that intersection. Good visibility, wide enough, well-marked. People need to pay attention!

The cyclist is Charles (Hot Shot) Ingram. Two broken shoulder bones. Two broken wrists. Replaced hip. Head fracture is being watched by a neurologist. But so far ok last I heard.
