Shot officer handled dead police dog
The off-duty Griffin police officer who was shot in a domestic disturbance in Spalding County was a Lamar County man who handled a police dog that was killed here in 2009, The Herald-Gazette has learned.

I do like knowing what is going on around the area, but please get some facts before reporting things. You leave too many open ended statements that don't mean anything.

I'm totally confused. As others have mentioned, there are too many unanswered statements. And just what does this incident have to do with the one in 2009 when the police dog was murdered?

Come on people. He was in a domestic himself. He was off duty and he did not get a call to this. He apparently was already at this location weather it was him or someone that he knows was in the altercation.

The story coming from a friend with the scso said that he was shot in the arse after being caught in the act with another mans wife not ex girlfriend hmmm maybe we should consider who we are handing out badges to it seems there is alot of this going on in barnesville too if you just pay attention you will see indescreet meetings going all in out of the way places like greenwood cemetary for one...
