The Herald-Gazette brought home two prestigious awards from the Better Newspapers Contest ceremonies held in conjunction with the Southeastern Newspapers Convention last week in Destin, Florida.

Congratulations to the HG staff!

Now we have two local news sources with awards. The HG got two awards from peers, and the "other" news source gave themselves one in an editorial.
