Following a motion by city councilwoman Anne Claxton, the Barnesville city council voted unanimously Tuesday afternoon to deny Fred's and the other businesses in its strip center an entrance off Murphey Avenue in Barnesville

I don't fine the center hard to get into, as I enter from Veterans Parkway. But it is a trick to get home after I leave. No matter. Nobody said life would be easy.
You know what is like to see in our town?
A jeweler, a mid quality clothing store, Sonic again, an electronics store......
