Between Saturday, April 18, and Friday, April 24, the Barnesville police department made seven arrests:
Michael Dickerson, 113 Ashley Ct., Barnesville, possession of marijuana;
Cathy Hamlett, 115 Carey J. Buckner St., Barnesville, disorderly conduct and false report of a crime;
Jared Jackson, 370 Redbud Dr., Barnesville, two counts terroristic threats and obstruction of an officer;
Jeremy Pitts, 500 Atlanta St., Barnesville, Upson County warrant;
James Roussaw, 146 Bradley Cir., Barnesville, three counts entering an auto with intent to commit theft;
Melissa Wellham, 94 Bagwell Cir., Carrollton, disorderly conduct;
Cortney York, 371 Old Milner Rd., Milner, driving while license suspended and speeding.
Officers answered 108 calls for service including seven accidents, six alarms, one EMS assist, 19 building security checks, one burglary, one crowd control, five damage to property, seven disturbances, two dog complaints, two domestics, 14 escorts, two fights, one fraud, two harassment, one hit and run, one juvenile complaint, 15 miscellaneous, four noise complaints, three shoplifting, one shots fired, seven suspicious persons/vehicles, one terroristic threat, two thefts, one traffic control and one 911 hang-up. They issued 28 citations including two disorderly conduct, one driving while license suspended, one driving with the wrong license class, two expired tags, one failure to obey traffic control device, three failure to stop at stop sign, one false report of a crime, one improper passing, one open container, two possession of alcohol under age, one possession of marijuana, five seat belt violations, six speeding and one suspended registration.
