The Lamar County Trojans traveled to Zebulon Friday to take on the Pike County Pirates in the annual Battle of Potato Creek and came away with a 41-14 win. Lamar led 41-0 before Pike scored twice on the Trojan reserves. The fourth quarter was played with a running clock under GHSA mercy rules.

Did Pike decline to have a running clock in the 3rd when we took our starters out? It was pretty hilarious watching the team and fans celebrate on on scoring those 2 junk tds.
