According to the Butts County Sheriff's Office, the Escapee was captured around the 195 mile marker on I-75 southbound in the wood line Tuesday night.
No one was injured in the apprehension.
Michael Shane Upshaw Jr., 26, was being transported by Jones County authorities to the Georgia Diagnostic and Classification Prison when he escaped around 7:35 a.m. near the Interstate 75 exit at Ga. Highway 36, authorities said. The prison is located not far from the exit.

why did'nt the deputy just shoot his sorry as#.he won't ever amount to anything anyway.when they catch him,knock one of his legs off and i'll bet he wont try to escape again.
