Sheriff Larry Waller announced today that this morning at 4:30 am 85 law enforcement officers from the Lamar, Spalding, Upson and Monroe County Sheriff's Office; the Barnesville, Thomaston, Milner, and Griffin Police Department; the Multi-County Narcotics Task Force; the Towaliga Circuit District Attorney's Office; the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Georgia Department of Corrections; the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration and the U.S. Marshall's Service, in a coordinated effort, made arrests for crack cocaine of 19 suspects of illegal drug sales. (video of press conference after the jump)
Great Job on the crackdown. However,I have to say after watching this video; I think it would be a good investment for the Sherriff's Department to hire a media spokesperson. I was trying to translate this video but it mostly sounds like wan-wah-wan-wa. We really need to teach our sherriff how to speak in public.
get all that cocaine and meth off the streets. that stuff messes up peoples lives and they cant get off of it and they turn to stealing and crime.
weed on the other hand is cool. its a natural grown plant. drop a seed in the dirt and what you get is what you get. weed does not have to be manufactured like crack, cocaine and herion which is the real money and death drugs.
I don't know about that JC. You can either have a sheriff who gets out and does the work, or you can have a politician who's a slickster and kisses some butt and doesn't support his staff.
Can't have 'em both in the same package.
The address you have for Dexter Foster is incorrect. With all the so-called manpower and law enforcement effort that went into this "Multi agency drug bust" you could, at minimum get the addresses correct if you sre going to put them in the paper
No one is getting made you stupid ass. His family doesn't up hold him in anything. If he was caught with anything that is one thing and his family would have to respect that and deal with whatever the courts give him, but law enforcement did not remove anything from his household. Based upon his warrant that was given to his family upon his release the next day!!!!! It STATED lack of evidence and he will have his day in court with his attorney representing him. It one thing to catch him with something but to go off of hearsay is stupid as I stated before he will have his day in court with attorney vastly working on his case.
wow hooked on phonics at work here in lamar county... give these people a round of applause for at least trying to come up with "english" sentences in some kind of way. Don't hate cause they forget verbs here and there... lol lamar county high.. salute
