Spalding Co. man has swine flu

Authorities have confirmed that a 31-year-old Spalding County man has the immediate area's first case of swine flu.

I guess there will be mass hysteria in Griffin now. I hear sooo many people talk about how scared they are of this so-called swine flu. They say " man, it done killed somebody over in Alabama" or " dude, you are crazy. Two people have died already in the U.S." I say, do you know how many died of the regular flu last year?...about 30 thousand. They just look bewildered. It just goes to show how the main stream media puppetizes this nations weak- minded individuals. Just the same way they can slobber all over a certain person running for President and actually, first hand get him elected.

Believe it or not, we're not all mindless cattle in Griffin. Granted there are some people who have listened to the media's attempts at creating mass hysteria, but you cannot blame people for wanting to trust their national media. I completely agree that the media elected our President and that the media has created the panic over this flu, but the CDC took its time in making a statement about the situation so there was no alternative information for the public to find. Now that the information has been presented, people are beginning to understand that the seasonal flu has caused many more deaths than this flu has so far and that avoiding infected individuals is an easy and effective way of avoiding illness. I urge you to think before you accuse people of being weak-minded when they are simply using the information available to them to protect themselves.

I believe people should be worried about if the man is doing ok. If you only want to think about yourselves then wash your hands often and be selfish.

Obama became president because he deserved and worked for it. If you would not have settle for a mill job, you probably could have ran for president yourself.

THANKS. This swine flu hysteria was to cover up the mass killing overseas in April so the president would not look like he was killing our boys and girls in the military.

Yes almost dead about 2 or 7 months. Swine Flu is unknown. H1N1 one endemic in humans, one endemic in birds and two endemic in pigs. Chicken pox or AIDS? Pandemic!!!
