Lamar under flash flood watch
Lamar County is under a flash flood watch until 1 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 4. According to the National Weather Service, flooding of streams, creeks and rivers is possible and temporary flooding of streets could occur as well. Lamar County experienced flash flooding Dec. 30 when many roads and yards were flooded as well as streams, rivers and lakes.
