The local animal shelter is struggling to find homes – and space – for more than three dozen cats whose owner had to give them up.
The Barnesville-Lamar County Humane Society has taken 12 of the felines to a low-cost spay neuter clinic, where they will also get rabies shots. Two more have already been adopted, but about 25 more were being brought in Thursday afternoon.
Good homes are needed for cats

So why didn't we freak out about the "conditions" of this place way back when? Have things changed so much in the past eight months?
