Several Lamar countians took part in a sprint triathlon June 21 at Callaway Gardens. There were a total of 1,200 participants in the event, which included a two mile run, quarter mile swim and 10 mile bike ride.
Above, Walker Ozier, Daniel Huggins and Courtland Day made up a relay team that captured second place in the team division. Day swam the quarter mile, Huggins biked nine miles and Ozier ran two kilometers for a total time of 48:52.

I would like to add that i got 3rd place in my age group and 15th overall at this triathlon and i am from Barnesville.
