I'n pleased he is released and OK now, and I'm pleased the people who did not support Larry have better public manners than the people who did not support Buice.
Be nice. set a good example. It is bad enough that the people who supported larry waller pick on buice. you don't need to pick back like they do. be glad he is ok wheter you like him or not.
Now that it is clearly apparent that Mister Waller is suffering from debilitating health issues, it is time for him to resign from office. That will allow the replacement appointed by the governor maximum time to be successful.
Waller rightfully must concentrate on his serious health problems without the stress that comes naturally from the sheriff position. There is simply no way he can properly perform this difficult task and deal with these health concerns at the same time.
For both the benefit of himself and the county he should step aside now.

This is the second time I have placed this comment. You have allowed worse above. Arbitrary and subjective censoring is not in the spirit of the First Amendment you hold so dear.
I don't see it as picking on Buice. I see it as looking at his actions and record and calling a spade a spade. Some people have a calling to do certain things. I haven't seen anything he did that makes me think he was a good law enforcement officer. This is not something I would say to his back and not to his face.
FYI: People fully recover from strokes all the time. Larry is expected to make a full recovery. If the time comes that it is apparent he will not recover, THEN you may be correct in asking for his resignation, until then your request is premature.
Did you forget to identify yourself as "The Doctor Observer?" Until you know all the facts, don't you think it would be wise to withhold your call for his resignation until you actually know what you are talking about?
God is not finished with him yet! I have known him for many years. I was there to see him when he was plagued with cancer, the loss of his brother and now this stumbling block of this mini stroke...Praise the Lord he is still with us. Count your blessings, do not rejoice in peoples hardship, but rejoice in others blessing.
Is that how you want to be treated? Or should Sheriff Waller be the only recipient for your prescription for illness on the job. Hopefully you'll be treated with more mercy than the mercy you would mete out on Sheriff Waller.
