Rollcast Energy has selected Zachry Industrial, Inc., a subsidiary of Zachry Holdings, Inc, to engineer, procure and construct its 53.5-MW Piedmont Green Power project in Barnesville, Ga. When completed in 2012, Piedmont Green Power will provide clean energy to more than 40,000 homes. [Full Story »]

The City of Barnesville was awarded $500,000 in Equity Grant funding today, according to Gov. Sonny Perdue.

The funds will be used for water system infrastructure to support the Piedmont Green Power project off MLK bypass near its intersection with Gordon Road. [Full Story »]
